PDFtoMusic Pro is a clever tool to recover, edit, and update your PDF music scores. It can open any PDF file, regardless of the tool it was used to create it, and recognize all its musical elements, re-generating the original sheet music for you in seconds.

It will faithfully respect the original layout, including the non-musical elements, such as the text and the annotations present in the PDF - author, title, printer, etc. The “recovered” score can then be stored in more open formats, such as MusicXML or MIDI. With its built-in player, you can listen to selected fragments or to the complete score, including the vocal parts! Virtual Singer is another stand-alone application that comes bundled with PDFtoMusic so that you can hear your PC sing the score’s lyrics in English (both BR and AE), French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, or even Latin and Occitan!

This comprehensive tool will only accept and recognize well-built PDF files, a limitation that guarantees superb results. The newly built score can be fully edited, either to correct minor OCR mistakes – if any – or to add as many new elements and comments as you see fit. The editing part is, actually, its main asset. You can interactively change, add, or delete any note, part, or bar of the score, just as you do when using a professional score editing tool, or when creating your own score from scratch.

As said above, PDFtoMusic can play absolutely any score, and it allows you to keep a copy of the audio file for your records in either WAV or AIFF format.
